Catonsville Rails To Trails (CRTT) relies on community support to build and maintain the Catonsville trail system.  We  use donations and memberships to create and maintain  trails and make Catonsville pedestrian friendly.  To help CRTT boost membership, several generous Catonsville businesses have stepped up to assist CRTT raise money to continue the work on the Short Line Trail.

Here’s a question we hear all the time….Don’t Grants Pay for the Trails?   CRTT does receive grant money for the trail but these are “matching” grants, which means we have to raise 20 – 80% of the money and the grants will match what we raise.  Your membership dollar  is basically matched, dollar for dollar, by these grants.  That is why it is so important for you to become a member.  Questions about membership?  Call Maureen Sweeney Smith at 443-326-5474 or send an e-mail to sweeneysmith@comcast.net.
