9th Annual July 4th Bike Ride To Fort McHenry

photo-05What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with an early morning bike ride to Fort McHenry on a guided bike ride, led by Charlie Murphy.   Over 150 of your fellow Catonsville residents participated last year.  Don’t forget to wear festive holiday wear and decorate your bike.

Refreshments & Registration begins at 7:30 at The Hub, 825 Frederick Road (rear).

HUB Special – $50 tune ups and free safety checks prior to the ride for anyone participating.  Just mention 4th of July Ride when you bring your bike in !

Bike Ride begins at 8:00 a.m.*  Rain or shine

*Please note that several publications list the ride as beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The ride will begin at 8:00 a.m.

This is a casual ride at approximately 10-12 mph. Helmets should be worn. Parents should consider distance and conditions of ride to determine if age appropriate for child’s endurance and strength.  No one is left behind and The Hub is providing a sag van to assist riders who break down.

The bike ride is free but a $10 suggested donation to CRTT is appreciated.
