Trolley Festivus Art/Commercial/Non-Profit Vendor Rules/Conditions & Application

The Trolley Festivus attracts over 2500 people from the Catonsville, Maryland where the median age is 39.2 and the median family income is just under $90,000.  This festival is family oriented with dozens of attractions and events for children and their parents.  This is a great place sell your art or deliver information about your nonprofit or service.

Please note that limited spaces (25) are available and preference is given to artist with high quality handmade art.  We reserve the right to limit vendor spaces for commercial and nonprofit entities.  Please see #3.

  1. All works must be original creations of the artist participating in the event. No resale of manufactured items.  All works exhibited should be family friendly.  Please include photographs of your art entry.  Applications will be reviewed, and you will receive a notice of acceptance.  This festival is limited to 25 exhibitors and spaces are not transferable.
  2. Space fee for artists is $50.00 and is due at application in the form of on-line payment/check/cashier check/money order. Checks should be made payable to Catonsville Rails To Trails (CRTT) with Trolley Festivus in the memo line and mailed to 33 Overbrook Road, Catonsville, MD 21228.  We encourage all vendors to register on-line.
  3. A limited amount of commercial/business and non-profit spaces are available. Space Fee for Commercial Entries is $140.00.  Space Fee for nonprofit is $50.00.  Catonsville Rails To Trails reserves the right to limit entries. Commercial and non-profits should contact Edward at 443-226-8715 prior to filling out the application.  If food vendor, fill out food vendor application.
  4. Artist must be at least 18 years of age. Younger artist will be considered with recommendations from a sponsoring educator/adult/mentor.
  5. Event will be held rain or shine and no refunds will be issued in the event of inclement weather.
  6. Each exhibitor must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, display racks etc.… Tents must be properly weighted down so they don’t blow over.
  7. All spaces are approximately 10’X10’. They are marked and pre-assigned.  Display equipment may not extend beyond the boundary of assigned space (including stakes or poles for tent).  No electricity is available.  Gas generators are not allowed.
  8. Space assignments will be mailed 2 weeks before the festival date, together with directions to the event location. Exhibitors will be expected to set up between 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
  9. Parking for exhibitors will be on near-by parking lots or on-street parking where available. CRTT will not be responsible for parking tickets received in violation of any parking regulations.  Cars or trucks may not be driven or parked in the festival area after 10:30 a.m. or before 6 p.m. on day of festival.
  10. Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting Maryland State Sales Tax on all sales made during the show. This tax should be added to the price of items sold.
  11. Food is available during the festival from concessionaires/food trucks. Several eateries and a 7-Eleven are nearby.
  12. Portable restrooms will be available at the festival.

  14. CRTT will not be responsible for loss or damage to persons or properties including works on exhibit. Vendors need to provide a Certificate of Insurance.
  15. For and in consideration of permission to participate in the festival activities, the individual, group or organization clicking/signing this agreement is to assuming the risk and hereby releases and agrees to release Catonsville Rails To Trails, it members, and all persons organizing, sponsoring or assisting the festival from any and all liability, losses, and or claims arising out of participation in Trolley Festivus.
