Trolley Festivus Food Vendor Rules/Conditions

The 3rd Annual Trolley Festivus will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 (rain or shine) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Over  2500 people are expected to attend.  The event will be held at the Catonsville Junction located at 1611 Edmondson Ave., 21228

  1. Space fee for food vendors is $140.00 and is due at application in the form of on-line payment/check/cashier check/money order. Checks should be made payable to Catonsville Rails To Trails (CRTT) with Trolley Festivus in the memo line and mailed to 33 Overbrook Road, Catonsville, MD 21228.  Vendors are encouraged to register on-line.  Downloadable 2019 food vendor application  for mail in payment.
  2. The event will be held rain or shine & no refunds will be issued in the event of inclement
  3. Each exhibitor must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, display racks etc.… Tents must be properly weighted down so tent does not blow over.
  4. Food vendors must display professional (printed, chalkboard, etc.) menu signage with prices.
  5. All spaces are approximately 10’X10’. They are marked and pre-assigned.  Display equipment may not extend beyond the boundary of assigned space (including stakes or poles for tent).  Electric and gas are not provided unless specified via Catonsville Rails To Trails.
  6. Space assignments will be mailed 2 weeks before the festival date, together with directions to the festival location. Exhibitors will be expected to set up between 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
  7. Each food vendor will be assigned one parking space in the adjoining parking lot for replenishing supplies. Additional parking is available on nearby lots and on-street parking.  CRTT will not be responsible for parking tickets received in violation of any parking regulations.  Cars or trucks may not be driven or parked in the festival area after 10:30 a.m. or before 6 p.m. on day of festival.
  8. Vendor must provide any equipment for serving, warming, cooling and storage of food pursuant to Baltimore County health regulations. Vendors are responsible for any county or state permits.
  9. Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting Maryland State Sales Tax on all eligible sales made during the festival.
  10. Vendors must provide containers/plates, utensils and napkins. Please, no foam take-out containers, plates or cups.  Bio friendly containers preferred.  Paper straws.
  11. Catonsville Rails To Trails reserves the right to sell beer and wine. Vendors are not permitted to serve beer or wine. Vendors are encouraged to serve water and sodas.
  12. Portable restrooms will be available during the festival.
  13. CRTT does not guarantee exclusive sales rights to any vendor or product unless written exception is negotiated.
  14. No early teardowns without permission. Equipment may be moved 15 minutes prior to the selling area’s closing.  All trash must be bagged, and area cleaned at festival closing

  16. For and in consideration of permission to participate in the festival activities, the individual, group or organization clicking/signing this agreement is assuming the risk and hereby releases and agrees to release Catonsville Rails To Trails, it members, and all persons organizing, sponsoring or assisting the festival from any and all liability, losses, and or claims arising out of participation in Trolley Festivus.
