Catonsville Rails to Trails

Welcome to Catonsville Rails to Trails

Tour de Mural – This Sunday November 9 at 10 a.m.

IMG_2966CRTT will hold a bike ride this Sunday, Nov. 9 and tour all the large outdoor murals in Catonsville.

Did you know there is a Beach Blanket Bingo mural in Catonsville?  Did you know that there are 8 large murals in the Catonsville area that have been painted in the last three years?

Join Catonsville Rails To Trails (CRTT)  this Sunday morning at 10 a.m. for a bike ride through Paradise and Catonsville to learn about each location.

Cyclist will tour 8 murals and Edward Williams, who created the majority of the murals, will be riding along to discuss the concept  behind each of the murals.

The bike ride will begin behind the Junction 7-Eleven located at 1604 Edmondson Ave. at Dutton Ave. at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning after the mural dedication at 9:30 a.m.  7-Eleven will be providing doughnuts and coffee.  The ride will end approximately 1.5-2 hours later at Atwater’s Bakery.  Atwater’s has generously donated coupons for a free beverage, so plan on having lunch at Atwater’s after the ride.  A dedication ceremony of the newest mural will be held just before the bike ride.
